"Yield" es el quinto álbum de Pearl Jam, editado en 1998.
El sucesor de "No Code", contiene los singles "Do The Evolution", "Wishlist" y "Given To Fly" y fue el último trabajo con el productor Brendan O´Brien hasta el reciente "Backspacer", su último trabajo editado en 2009. El disco recuerda el rock directo que tenía la banda en sus primeros trabajos y fue inspirado por la novela "Ishmael" del escritor Daniel Quinn, "The Master and Margarita" del escritor Mikhail Bulgakov y por algunos escritos de Charles Bukowski.
El guitarrista Stone Gossard escribió las letras para las canciones "No Way" y "All Those Yesterdays", y el bajista Jeff Ament realiza sus primeras contribuciones como escritor en un álbum de Pearl Jam, creando las letras de las canciones "Pilate" y "Low Light".
