This black American Series Stratocaster was made in the Corona California Fender Plant between 2000-2001 which makes it among the first in the American Series (MFG. 2000-2007). In addition to the Fender Stratocaster, Made in U.S.A. logo, the top of the head says “Original Contour Body” and the back chrome plate is inscribed with “Fender” and "Corona California".
The American Series features an ash or alder body, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot markers, hand-rolled fingerboard edges, six-on-one-side tuners, two-point synchronized tremolo, three custom staggered single coil pickups, five-way switch, three knobs (v, two tone), and a 3-ply pickguard.
This guitar is in excellent condition. There are no dings, dents, scratches, or gouges. It is in very close to new condition.
Also included is the original Fender molded Hard Case. (Very cool looking case!)
