 Officially licensed from Ford Motor Company, a global automotive industry leader, Traxxas’ new Ford Mustang Boss 302 puts you behind the wheel of this legendary racer. Velineon Brushless horsepower stays true to the Boss 302’s performance heritage, cranking out 50+mph top speeds and tire shredding power slides. The lowered stance, tough wide-body styling, and aggressive Split Spoke wheels speak to the performance that lives under the body. The Boss 302 is an impressive street machine with rocker actuated coil-over shocks, full-time 4WD, and unmistakable Mustang style—all fully assembled and Ready-To-Race®! The model is based on Traxxas' innovative 1/16 scale chassis, an impressive platform designed for pure performance. Hang it out in the turns and hustle down the straights with the perfect blend of speed, power, and traction—4WD makes it easy to ride the ragged edge of oversteer as though you had the pedal to the floor in a full-size Boss 302. The innovative suspension system has been expertly engineered for high-performance driving right down to the oil filled, threaded-body GTR shocks and firm, road-tuned springs. The all-wheel drive system rides on full ball-bearings and delivers smooth efficient power through Traxxas' Torque-Control™ slipper clutch and proven telescoping u-joint drive shafts. Every detail has been maximized to deliver the thrilling performance epitomized by the Mustang Boss 302.
 
Built specifically for Traxxas 1/16 scale models, the VXL-3m speed control and Velineon® 380 motor represent the latest in brushless technology. Fully LiPo compatible with low-voltage detection for 2S and 3S packs and rated for 6-12 NiMH cells, this potent, powerful combo gives the Boss 302 precise throttle control and blistering top speed. Patent-pending Training Mode™ lets new drivers hone their skills at 50% throttle. This allows young or new drivers to safely develop their control skills before unleashing 50+mph speed with the touch of the EZ-Set® button. Big speed requires big horsepower, so the Boss 302 carries the largest motor in the "mini" category. The Velineon 380 features high-speed ball bearings, Sintered rotor, Neodymium magnets, and Gold plated 3.5mm connectors. It all adds up to 50,000 rpm of pure power and track-searing speed!
