AKG has been making great mics since the 1940s, and that tradition still continues today with the C5 vocal mic. The C5 is a condenser mic with a dent-resistant spring steel wire mesh grille cap to protect the capsule. The housing is a die cast sturdy zinc alloy designed to withstand the rigors of touring. The internal shock absorber virtually eliminates handling noise. The C5 sports a 24-carat gold-sputtered housing that protects the capsule against humidity and moisture, plus a removable Presence Booster adapter for increased intelligibility.
