The AVA-2902I adapters provide PCI SCSI performance for use with IBM compatible PCs. For peripheral OEMs who are looking for a PCI SCSI solution, Adaptec offers industry standard host adapters, based on proven designs.

Compatibility
The AVA-2902I adapters are based on Adaptec’s industry-standard PCI SCSI host adapter architecture. Support for the AVA-2902I adapters are embedded in Windows® 95 and Windows NT™ and support for MSDOS ® and Windows® 3.1x is available through drivers which assure compatibility with these desktop operating systems. Adaptec has developed strong relationships with ISHVs (Independent Software Hardware Vendors) to maximize product compatibility with industry leading hardware and software products. These relationships mean reduced technical support due to increased compatibility, resulting in lower total cost of ownership.
