The Marshall 1962 Bluesbreaker tube combo amplifier is based on the JTM45, widely considered to be the definitive '60s Marshall. With 30-watts of power channeled through dual 12" Celestion G12M Greenback speakers, you'll command the legendary guitar tones of '60s rock legends. The 1962 Bluesbreaker's sonic sweetness comes courtesy of a GZ34 tube rectifier, which imparts the natural sustain and compression the JTM45 was famed for. Think rich midrange, a warm low-frequency response that's neither too tight or too loose, and a gentle high-frequency rolloff that sounds right whether you're playing clean or full-bore. Low wattage - for a vintage Marshall
The 1962 Bluesbreaker is a re-issue of the classic Marshall JTM45 amp, which only use 30 watts of power to create its epic tones. That's pretty low power when you consider Marshall's other models at the time. But 30 watts is perfect for live use in small to medium sized venues, and it's ideal for recording. You can get the sound of a fully-pegged tube amp at a much more reasonable volume level, reducing mic bleed in your studio and your on-stage volume when gigging out.
