About the Artist Drew James, a San Francisco native, grew up playing guitar influenced by several 1960 s rock, blues and folk artists. He began seriously writing and singing his own songs in 1996. In addition to his solo performances, Drew has played with the local bay area band Fearless Heart and with a band organized by Bay Area Favorite songwriter Bonnie Hayes through the Blue Bear School of music. Drew s music is an eclectic combination of roots, blues, Americana, blue grass and folk traditions. His guitar and vocal solo performances consist entirely of his original songs. Drews songwriting influences are Tom Waits, Lucinda Williams and Steve Earle. As Far As I Know by Drew James
