Not only does Debelah Morgan have the rock-hard abs, R&B chops, and high vocal register that made Mariah Carey a household name, but she also has extensive classical training that gives some legitimacy to the Bach and Bizet samples sprinkled among her albums hip-pop beats. On personality, however, Carey neednt worry: Morgans Dance with Me has no spirit of its own and no story to tell. The usual mix of dancefloor tracks and ballads here includes some good ones, such as Baby I Need Your Love and Lets Get It On, and some not-so-good ones, such as Come and Dance and Cant Stop Loving You. But all are predictable retreads of songs youve heard before.
