The talented female vocalist Armenta Richardson first came into prominence as a singer for the funk/soul band Majik that started in New York and became very big in France in the early 1980s. In the mid-1980s she reprised her hit I Wanna Be With You for the legendary Street Level label with Amir Bayyan (brother of Robert Kool Bell of Kool & The Gang), the writer of the song, producing the track. The song subsequently became a big hit in Europe and is now considered a boogie classic. Presented here is the original 12 single, complete with a bonus club mix and instrumental. All selections newly remastered.
