El artista británico Jason Anderson crea coloridas pinturas abstractas hechas con pintura al óleo en tonos pastel. Al mirarlas de cerca, las pinturas parecen componerse de simples bloques de color; sin embargo, solo necesitas alejarte un poco para ver sus escenas—incluyendo paisajes urbanos, caminos, trenes y marinas—en todo su esplendor.
Anderson comenzó su carrera como aprendiz de vidriero, donde trabajó restaurando ventanas de catedrales. * In the Artist's Story *


British artist Jason Anderson creates colorful abstract paintings made with pastel oil paint. When looked at closely, the paintings appear to be composed of simple blocks of color; however, you only need to zoom out a bit to see scenes of him — including cityscapes, roads, trains, and marinas — in all its glory.
Anderson began his career as an apprentice glazier, where he worked restoring cathedral windows. He soon went on to design the stained glass windows himself, and it was thus that he learned to divide his subject into colored sections, as if it were a puzzle. This method is still present in his paintings today; the artist brings complex scenes to life through simple shapes and careful consideration of tone and color
